Best Laptops for 2021

Dell XPS 13 (Best Laptop)
The Dell XPS 13 launched the race to lower bezels in 2015, and it has since extended to every device with a screen. The most recent XPS notebook was redesigned in 2020, with a bigger screen employing a 16:10 aspect ratio and a smaller bottom bezel. It's exactly as strong and long-lasting as before, and it doesn't prioritize function over form. The forthcoming 2021 update will also have the choice of an OLED 4K screen.

Apple MacBook Air M1 (Best Laptop for Students)
The new MacBook Air is powered by Apple's proprietary M1 processor. This means you won't have to give up speed to keep the temperatures low. The battery life is what truly distinguishes this as the best student laptop. It's ideal for classrooms, coffee shops, libraries, and other places where an outlet is scarce.

Best Phones for 2021

Acer Swift 3 (Best Budgets Laptop)
When you pay $650 on a basic laptop in 2021, one of the first things you give up is performance. That is not the case with the AMD version of the Acer Swift 3, which is outfitted with a Ryzen 7 4700U CPU. That's an eight-core CPU that churns through demanding activities while scoffing at mundane productivity tasks. This laptop can do genuine video editing work, which is incredible given the price.
You also get 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for a terrific price. We're not thrilled with the show, but something had to go. The build quality of the Acer Swift 3 is adequate, even if it isn't the most visually appealing laptop on the market.

Razer Blade 15 (Best Gaming Laptop)
From the outside, you might not see that the Razer Blade is a gaming laptop. It's as light and thin as a MacBook Pro, with minimal bezels, a high-quality keyboard and trackpad, and a brilliant, colorful 15-inch display. Even if it wasn't a gaming laptop, the Razer Blade would be a candidate for one of the best 15-inch laptops. It's a bit of a wonder that it can play games with reasonable frame rates.
The Razer Blade is a fantastic gaming machine, with RTX 30-series graphics that top out at the RTX 3080. The most interesting new setup, though, is a 1440p resolution screen with a refresh rate of 240Hz.

Best Free Video Editing Software (2021)

Dell XPS 17 (Best Video Editing Laptop)
The Dell XPS 17 is the most powerful laptop for video editing that I've ever tested. It is powered by an eight-core Intel Core i9 processor and an Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics chip. Despite having a 17-inch screen, the laptop is no larger than a typical 15-inch laptop. The third piece of the equation is the 4K display, which is bright, gorgeous, and has virtually perfect color reproduction.

Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (Best Photo Editing Laptop)
For quite some time, Apple's MacBook Pro range has been a favorite as one of the best computers for picture editing. It packs a lot of punch into a small and light package, with up to 10th-generation Intel Core i9 CPUs, 64GB of RAM, and 8TBs of fast storage. A 16:10 aspect ratio allows for greater vertical space and a wider color range, resulting in the most accurate colors possible. The much-anticipated M-series update to the 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected later in 2021.
