  1. Launch the Windows Settings app.
  2. Select “Personalization” from the left pane.
  3. In the Personalization section, select “Lock Screen.”
  4. Click the drop-down box next to “Personalize Your Lock Screen.”
  5. Select between “Picture” or “Slideshow.”
  6. If you choose “Slideshow,” you can look for an image folder.
  7. If you choose “Picture,” you can choose a current image from the thumbnail selection or click “Browse Photos” to choose a custom image.

If you don’t want to view tips and words on your lock screen.

You can turn it off by unchecking the option next to “Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen.”

You can select an app to display detailed status information on the lock screen

Click the drop-down box next to “Lock Screen Status”.

You can hide your lock screen background image if you don’t want it to be seen.

To turn it off, click the switch next to “Show the lock screen background image on the sign-in screen.”
